Day 1 Barcelona - Keflavik -Reykjavik - Accommodation
Departure by scheduled flight to Keflavik. Pick up a rental car. Drive to Reykjavik. Overnight in Reykjavik.

Day 2 Reykjavik - The Golden Circle - Vík/Klaustur - AD - 350 km
Breakfast. Start the day driving to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the geological wonders of the world, where you can see the effects of tectonic plate movements that have opened up various cracks and fissures in the earth's crust. Continue to the famous Geysir area, where the Strokkur hot springs spew their column of water into the air every 5 to 10 minutes and where numerous small springs boil and bubble. Then, just drive a short distance to reach Gullfoss, surely one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. Drive along the south coast to the Vík/Klaustur area for the night. Overnight in Vík/Klaustur.

Day 3 Skaftafell - Jökulsárlón - Vík/Klaustur - AD - 460 km
Breakfast. Your next stop is the picturesque southeast of Iceland. After passing several outlet glaciers belonging to Vatnajökull, Europe's largest ice cap, you will arrive at the astonishing surreal beauty of Jökulsarlón, a glacial lagoon. This exceptional sight is located at the foot of Iceland's highest mountain, Hvannadalshnúkur. Skaftafell National Park is another area definitely worth visiting. This oasis, surrounded by glaciers and black sand plains, offers a wide range of options for excellent hiking. Continue through the village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, the Eldhraun lava field and the Mýrdalssandur plain and return to the Vík/Klaustur area. Accommodations.

Day 4 Vík/Klaustur - Reykjavík - AD - 200 km
Breakfast. Today you can start by looking at the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, famous for the Reynisdrangar rock outcrops rising from the sea and its basalt columns. Cape Dyrhólaey is the southernmost point of Iceland. A small path takes you to the top of this 120 m high cliff where you can often see a large number of puffins. Continuing west you will reach Skógar and pass the Skógafoss waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in Iceland. As you continue towards Hella, you pass the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, behind which you can walk. Your day will end in Reykjavík, where you will spend your last night in Iceland. Accommodations.

* Please note that the Dyrhólaey cliff is closed during the breeding season (until the end of June) and that the puffins leave the ground around mid-August.
** Be very careful on the beach on both sides of Mt. Reynisfjall, as the undertow is very strong.

Day 5 Reykjavík - Keflavík - Spain - Breakfast
Breakfast. Drive to Keflavik Airport. Delivery of the rental car and departure on scheduled flight to the city of origin. Arrival and end of our services.

  • Hotels are confirmed a few days after booking, but all available accommodation is of the same standard category as in Iceland.

Minimum price:
The minimum price indicated of 1,363 € is per person and corresponds to trips departing from 1-14/5 and 22-30/9/23 in triple occupancy, consult accommodation supplements and with number of persons per car (3) (1,318 €), traveling with the airline Vueling, in tourist class (level P) and including air taxes (45 €).

Seasonal supplement to the airfare:

The prices indicated are calculated based on flights with Vueling airline, in tourist class (level P). Please consult the corresponding supplement for other dates and airlines.

Air taxes:
Air and fuel taxes, corresponding to this trip based on Vueling economy class flights, are approximately 45 €.

  • Regular airline ticket Spain - Keflavik - Spain, economy class with Vueling, level P (taxes not included).
  • Car rental for the chosen group during the days indicated in the itinerary, with pick-up and drop-off at the airport, unlimited mileage, GPS, CDW insurance, TP insurance (check conditions) and an additional driver.
  • 4 nights' accommodation in en-suite rooms, including breakfast, in hotels, summer hotels and hostels.
  • VIP1000travel insurance.

(2)The price does not include

  • Car rental pick-up fee at the airport (direct payment approx. 35 €).
  • Petrol.
  • Optional charges on the car rental (theft insurance, SCDW insurance, etc.).
  • Fee for the use of tunnels or ferries, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Excursions.
  • Local accommodation tax (approx. 150 ISK per room per night) to be paid directly on arrival.

  • Reservations are accepted exclusively by mentioning the group and not the car model. Accommodation is also confirmed under an Icelandic standard of tourist class accommodation.
