Day 1 Spain - Chicago
Departure by scheduled flight to Chicago. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 3 Chicago - Springfield (Illinois) - 321 Km
Pick up the motorhome. Today you will head to Springfield via Route 66. On the way, you can enjoy coffee and lunch at an American classic, and visit the Lincoln Tomb State Historic Site, the final resting place of Abraham Lincoln and Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site. The reconstruction of the village where Abraham Lincoln lived in his twenties.

Day 4 Springfield (Illinois) - Springfield (Missouri) - 442 Km
Today depart for the banks of the Mississippi River and St. Louis, where a visit to the top of the tallest monument, The Gateway Arch, representing Thomas Jefferson's vision for westward expansion of the United States,is recommended. Continue to Lone Elk Park, where you can enjoy a wildlife area that includes bison, elk and deer before heading to Route 66 State Park.

Day 5 Springfield (Missouri) - Tulsa - 289 Km
Your journey today is through the heart of America to the city of Tulsa. It is worth stopping in Joplin, the city hideout of famous criminal couple Bonnie and Clyde. Arrive in Tulsa, onceknown as the "Oil Capital of the World," now home to the largest and most comprehensive collection of art and artifacts of the American West housed in the Gilcrease Museum. You can enjoy live music in the evening at any of the city's venues.

Day 6 Tulsa - Oklahoma City - 177 Km
Depart on the legendary Route 66 to Oklahoma City. Much of Route 66 is a living museum of old motels, iconic bar restaurants and landmarks. En route visit the Sapulpa Historical Museum, the memorable Lincon's Motel and the Route 66 Interpretive Center. Arriving in Oklahoma City, check out the clothing store in Stockyard City, the National Cowboy Museum, the American Banjo Museum and the lively Bricktown neighborhood.

Day 7 Oklahoma City - Elk City - 177 Km
A last view of Oklahoma City, a small but beautiful city with a special charm, before leaving again on Route 66 to Elk City. This part of the route is full of typical villages. You can taste the delicious beef burger and onion in the town of Reno or eat at the historic Lucilles Roadhouse in Weatherford and see the most typical museums of Route 66, Clinton and Elk City.  

Day 8 Elk City - Amarillo - 523 Km
Today departure from Oklahoma City to Texas City. It's a long drive, but it will be worth it as there is plenty to explore and see. Be sure to visit Palo Duro Canyon State Park, said to be the second largest canyon in the US.
Once home to the Apache, Comanche and Kiowa tribes. You can plan a visit to the Old West stables inside the canyon before heading to your destination. While in Amarillo, visit the American Quarter Horse Heritage Center, the Route 66 Historic District with specialty and antique stores, and the Cadillac Ranch, a public art and sculpture installation.

Day 9 Amarillo - Tucumcari - 257 Km
Depart Amarillo for Tucumcari, New Mexico. You will have the opportunity to visit the New Mexico Route 66 Museum at the Tucumcari Convention Center and take pictures of the famous monument and murals, scattered throughout the city. Tour the city at night to experience the colorful neon lights designed for your photo collection. Perhaps visit nearby Lake Ute or Conchas Lake State Park for hiking, finishing or picnicking where you can see wonderful scenery and a selection of wildlife, such as deer and birds.

Day 10 Tucumcari - Albuquerque - 313 Km
Head to Albuquerque, the capital of New Mexico. You'll drive a scenic route through the Santa Fe National Forest to the creative arts and culture city of Santa Fe, one of the largest art markets in the United States with more than 300 art galleries. If you want to learn about Native American heritage, visit the Eight Northern Indian Villages located north of Santa Fe.

Day 11 and 12 Albuquerque - Grand Canyon - 579 Km
Departure for a long drive to Williams / Grand Canyon. It is worth stopping in Gallup, also known as the "Indian Capital of the World" due to its location in the middle of Native American lands. Once you have arrived in Williams, you will have an ideal base for exploring the Grand Canyon. You will spend 2 nights in this area.

Day 13 Grand Canyon- Kingman - 201 Km
After a relaxing morning, you head to your next stop, Kingman. Enjoy a tour along the way at the Route 66 museum in this town.

Days 14-15 Kingman - Las Vegas - 160 Km
Get ready for Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps! You will spend two nights in one of the most popular tourist destinations; near the Las Vegas Strip, with many attractions, casinos, restaurants and five-star hotels. Spend the day shopping in luxury malls or visit The Neon Museum and the famous Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. If time permits, take in one of the many world-class shows, including the renowned Cirque du Soleil.

Day 16 Las Vegas - Barstow Calico - 249 Km
Leaving Las Vegas behind, today you head west towards the icon of the Colorado River, the famous Hoover Dam on the border between the states of Nevada and Arizona, where you will have the opportunity to stop and take some amazing pictures of this National Park. Historical landmark. After a short break in Boulder City, head south and skirt the Providence Mountains before heading to Mojave National Preserve.

Day 17-18 Barstow Calico - Los Angeles - 201 Km
Today you head to the second largest city in Los Angeles, also known as the "City of Angels". You'll have the opportunity to take a tour of Beverly Hills, visit Venice Beach and bike to Santa Monica, and if you're lucky, you may see some famous stars on Hollywood Boulevard. Be sure to visit the exciting Universal Studios Hollywood, one of the oldest and most famous movie studios and theme park in Hollywood with many attractions. Here you will spend 2 nights.

Day 19 Los Angeles - Spain

Remarks

  • To travel to the United States a valid passport is required and:
    All passengers traveling to the United States, or connecting at any of its airports traveling to/from another destination, must obtain a valid electronic authorization to travel through the ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) application, accessing through the internet (https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov) and filling out the form in Spanish. You can formalize the application at the moment of having the confirmation of the trip, recommending that you do not wait until the last moment, since the authorization can take up to 72 hours. It is valid for two years, as long as you travel with the same machine-readable passport, in case of passport renewal you must reapply for this authorization. A fee of US$ 14 must be paid. Only the following credit/debit cards will be accepted as means of payment: Mastercard, VISA, American Express and Discover.
    PERSONS WHO HAVE TRAVELED TO IRAN, IRAQ, SUDAN, SYRIA, LIBYA, SOMALIA, SOMALIA, YEMEN, CHAD, VENEZUELA or NORTH KOREA SINCE MARCH 2011, OR HAVE DUAL NATIONALITY FROM ANY OF THESE COUNTRIES, MUST APPLY FOR THE CORRESPONDING VISA AT THE U.S. EMBASSY IN MADRID.
  • Tipping in the United States is a measure that is applied to supplement the wages that employers pay to their waiters. For employers, it is a way of ensuring that the employee will serve the customer properly and correctly. They are therefore an obligation.

ALL-INCLUSIVE RATE 

  • Unlimited mileage
  • Preparation cost: initial propane refill, chemical and toilet paper supply, fresh water tank, fresh water hose and sewage hose, instruction manual, personal instructions on the use of motorhomes and appliances, camping guides and maps.
  • Personal kit: blankets, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, cloths, dishes, cutlery, coffee cups, saucers, bath towels, hand towels.
  • Kitchen kit: water pitcher, oven, 4 pieces of knife, salad bowl, potato peeler, colander, bottle opener, corkscrew, frying pan, saucepan, kettle, mop, bucket, pail, broom, dustpan, clothes hangers, kitchen towels.
  • SLI Insurance: This coverage provides you with a higher limit of liability protection. It protects all authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement for up to $1,000,000 for third party damage claims.

VEHICLE PICK-UP  

  • For security reasons it is essential to have rested the night before picking up the vehicle in a hotel in the city. The rate includes transfers between selected hotels (please consult) and the pick-up office.
  • Prior to departure, a 30-minute familiarization program is conducted at the office to familiarize you with the operation and maintenance of the vehicle.
  • In many cases, a full tank of fuel is provided and it is recommended to return the vehicle with the same amount to avoid fuel charges.

RETURN OF THE VEHICLE

  • Must be carried out at the contracted place between 08.00 and 11.00 hrs.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • The security deposit must be guaranteed by credit card (debit card is not accepted) upon pick-up of the vehicle.

DRIVERS

  • Drivers must be 21 years of age or older* and in possession of a valid international driving permit along with a valid driver's license from the country of residence and a current credit card (not debit) in their name.
  • Additional passengers (free of charge) must be present at pick-up and also sign the contract.
  • It is very important that when you pick up the vehicle and before signing the contract, you review all the documentation and the concepts included in the contract, in order to avoid later claims.
    * In some states the minimum age is 25 years old.

DRIVING RESTRICTIONS

  • Vehicles must be driven on paved and registered roads. There are some expressly prohibited and/or restricted roads and places in the country (e.g. Manhattan in New York, Death Valley in summer, Alaska and Northern Canada, the cities of Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec, and also in Mexico). Drivers should inquire at the pick-up office prior to departure about possible restricted areas depending on the planned itinerary, as the use of the vehicle in unauthorized places implies the automatic loss of the insurance benefits contracted.
